Ok hear me out .. An original take on Vampires genre by an Indian TV series ...
Oh we have plenty of those , you say ? Series copying Twilight saga verbatim and whatnot ?
And recently, you'd say, we got a whole indian monster verse started by Stree and continued by Thamma (Or vampires of Vijaynagar if you are better versed with the media lore).
Well, this comes before Thamma , and believe you me, it's way wackier than that.
The series is called ToothPari and it is about an innocent Dentist whose world shakes up when a girl walks in for a Dental appointment. It's love at first sight for him, but something about the girl is different.
And as we descend into this world, there are layers and layers of factions, lore which are quite different from western tropes.
I'll not spoil it for you ... but look at this forgotten gem a look see...
A caution for everyone... i've lost hope for a second season .. so the series is likey to be open ended.
